International School of Gorizia

The University of Trieste in cooperation with Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt and BOKU Vienna (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences

offers a unique opportunity for young career researchers to familiarize themselves with issues pertinent to the sustainable development of the Danube River Basin.

The school, from 13th to 22th April 2013, covers a wide range of subjects, from historical geography to geomorphology, from archeobotany to the management of interdisciplinary projects. Students will receive training in methods for the virtual representation of natural resources, as well as historical evidence.

Students and Junior researchers from all countries of the Danube Basin (as represented by the Universities of AARC and DRC) are welcome to apply for one, two or all three schools. The organizers Universities will issue a certificate of 3 ECTS for the completion of each school.

The members of the Alps-Adriatic Rectors' Conference (AARC) and of the Danube Rectors' Conference (DRC) will have to send the University of Trieste the list of their candidates by February 25th.
By March 15th, selected participants will be contacted to proceed with the online registration.
